As an IT guy my responsibilities start at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. I don’t have to work other than that. I don’t have to work on the weekends however I tried to help every opportunity I have if someone needs a little help on the weekend or at 3 a.m. I have no problem spending two minutes to help them. 2 weeks ago a friend was locked out i unlocked her and she asked since I’m in Asia is there anything that you would like? I said I love Chinese tea I’m willing to pay. She said no this is my treat and this is what she brought me just want to say thank you Lisa I truly appreciate it.

woke up and puttered around a bit, fell asleep on the couch, woke up now its too late to really do anything. Sat around looking at fakebook reading emails, yep time to make dinner soon. Damn rain makes me feel like crap.

Well i hope everyone had a great fourth! SAturday i was asked to do a short interview for a website. Is this for awareness? yes. ok then yes of course ill do this! and here we go!

Feeling better however some joint pain has returned hands, knees etc. Guess this stuff isn’t great either. Oh well. Going to see a pain doc next month. It can’t come soon enough…..

So… I have been on naproxen since 2013. I think. And I have been trying to find an alternate. Tried relafen. It didn’t help. Tried celebrix. Nope Nada. Tried daypro. Ears ringing, heart racing at 99 when I’m normally about 76ish. Oops, now I’m trying clinoril? There’s got to be something I’m thinking. Doc wants me to try curcumin again. Says some patients take it and can stop the nsaids. Asked me to look on Amazon and read the reviews. Damn I got a great doc. Also sending me to a pain specialist he said last stop before surgery. I really don’t want back surgery I’m only 50. What do you think? Ideas comments? I friend told me of a medical device that goes on your ear and your pain free when using it. I will ask…

I went to the HealthEvoices16.com conference. Yes i wrote about it. i was very moved by it, i still think about it there were so many awesome people there. EVERYONE had a story to share. Everyone was stricken with some sort of illness and rather then lie down and give up, we all chose to goto Social Media, to share our stories, and try to help others.

One of the people that i met, only briefly in the lobby on the way in and then on the bus ride to the airport, AnnMarie, asked me why i got into Social Media. I wrote a short couple paragraphs indicating why just now, when shes posts it i’ll link you over to her page, as she also has a story to tell.

Has passed. What happened? I blinked and it was gone. 🙁

 

So…… im sleeping soundly saturday morning when Nancy comes in all frantic and wakes me up. Its 3am saturday. Jim! JIM! Get up please hurry, I think the dogs killed something in the yard!

I get up go downstairs and yes theres a big white thing out there. i grab 2 plastic shopping bags and a flashlight. I stick my hand in one bag. Ewwww its a Possum. Suckers about 30 pounds. I pick him up by the tail. Cant fit him in the other bag hes just too big. So i walk back to the house and leave him on the patio. I get a big green garbage bag pick him back up by the tail and throw him in the bag, tie it up and throw him in the garbage can.Yuck!

Back to bed now… Zzzzzzzzzz.

Saturday we were out all day long, so Sunday the sun comes out and things start to warm up and dry, i must clean up the yard a little. (3large dogs = much poopie in a little time)

I go back to the garbage can lift the lid and throw the  OMG! Hes alive! I saw him move! I stumbled backwards somewhat. OMG… “Elizabeth! Its the big one one! Im coming to join ya baby”

I went in the house to sit for a few, came back out and laid the garbage can down popped the lid and stepped back. Mr Possum came out and ran into the yard again.

I so cant believe he was playing possum all the time i was carrying him by the tail. Holy crap!

Just when all is going well, wham! Ingrown toenail set me back. Damn this little bugger really hurt i was limping around last weekend. Tried to get it but wound up at the doctors this morning and had it removed. Now im sitting here my big toe feeling a numbly pain (kinda like it was hit by a hammer) and its time for bed. Hmmm do i take another pain pill? Do i go up and hopefully the dogs don’t jump on it?

I guess ill save the pill for when my back hurts more from limping, and when my knee blows out again, and take my chances upstairs. Did i mention we have 3 pitbulls? between 60 and 70 pounds each? Yes Rosie sleeps downstairs in the crate as the girls dont get along. Mindy and Syrus were here first so they sleep in our bed. Mindy at our feet and Syrus right between us. Quite nice on a cold night you stick your toes up under Mindy and stick your back on Syrus and they generate enough heat to warm you like the best of heating pads. Only reason i haven’t purchased a mattress heater yet, LOL.
